This week, I’ve learned the value of patience and second chances. After throwing a little fit over the crappy quality of the Amazon cover for our book, Monster, I went back and tried again. I looked through tutorials and forums, finding the flaws with and tricks to working with the Createspace cover designer. In the end, I was able to produce a different, but altogether gorgeous cover. It will be an Amazon.com exclusive design (links in the bottom of post). I am very glad that I took the time to do the work, because once it was home in my hands, I had to admit, they do a damn fine printing job.
In honor of today being Valentine’s Day, we’ve set a special new, lower price for Monster. As of right now, it’s the new permanent price. Which means, we’ll be bringing in even less from our sales, so please, if you don’t mind which cover design you get, order from Lulu.com where they take less of a cut out of the purchase price.
